Introduction to mindfulness for parents and carers

1 December 2019

The Park Hotel, Teddington

A relaxed, friendly and practical evening offering the chance to learn a little more about mindfulness and Mindful Magic. Have you heard about our classes but aren’t sure what to expect or if it’s for you? Would you like to learn a little more about mindfulness and how it might support, and inspire your children and your family? Would you like to feel more present? More be-ing, less do-ing?

We will be sharing….

* What is mindfulness?
* How can it help your children and family?
* What is Mindful Magic?
* Learn some simple breathing and mindful tools for you and your children
* Enjoy a simple guided relaxation
* Make and take a roller ball with grounding doTERRA essential oils

Mindfulness – myths dispelled
Does mindfulness feel a little inaccessible? Another thing to add to your already busy schedule? Maybe you worry that your children are too fidgety, too noisy, too busy. Come and learn what mindfulness is and, importantly, what it is not. I will share ways you can incorporate it into your life without having to find an extra 30 minutes a day for meditation and quiet time, as well as the power of sharing with our children the skill of tuning into themselves.
